The Rachel Project - funded by a generous grant from The LMC Legacy Foundation and the High Foundation! The Rachel Project uses small groups for Plain women who want to bind up their wounds, protect children from harm, and be a healing light for others. The curriculum for these groups includes a Rachel's Sister Workbook given to each participant with exercises, resources, and tools for use in everyday life, are being held in various locations through December 2023. |
Join us via Zoom on Tuesday, December 5, at 6:30PM for our next free bi-monthly Zoom workshop titled, Keeping Kids Safe Over The Holidays. Holidays can be a joyous time, filled with gatherings, anticipation, reverence, and music. Yet the holiday season is also a risky time for child sexual abuse, as our hectic schedules distract us and kids are around more people. With one in four girls and one in six boys sexually abused, parents, teachers, day care operators and all caring adults need to ensure guardrails are in place to protect them, especially during this season. Raising awareness of this heightened risk and practical steps to reduce it will be the topic of this workshop. If you can’t make it to the live Zoom workshop, a limited time recording will be sent to all registered participants afterwards. This bi-monthly free workshop is generously sponsored by B&G Glass. Facilitator: Linda Crockett, Ex. Director |
